RTE 4/9/17 10:18:20 Bose will announce its new wireless earbuds at its upcoming event on January 17 in London.
The headphones are based on the Bose Link technology and come with a range of built-in Bluetooth connectivity.
They will be available in two colours, black and white, with a $299 price tag.
The Bose headphones have an internal impedance of 3 ohms, which is similar to the wireless earphones on Apple’s iMac and MacBook Pro, but they are said to be able to generate a much stronger soundstage than the earbud-based wireless earpieces.
The new earbuddies also support Bluetooth 4.1 wireless technology and a USB Type-C port for charging and power.
Bose announced earlier this year that it had developed an earbuddy that was able to detect whether a Bluetooth headset was in your ear, and will also be able tell whether a smartphone was nearby when you’re wearing it.
The Bluetooth earbuzzers are also capable of detecting whether you’re standing up or sitting down, and Bose claims that they’re also “extremely accurate”.
It is also said that the headphones will be “unmatched for sound quality”, as the earphones can reproduce the entire range of human hearing.
Bostons Bose Bluetooth earphones were announced earlier in the year.
