Recode editor-in-chief Dave Weigel writes in this week’s Recode podcast that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6 is “the best-sellers” iPhone in the world, and he’s right.
It’s the world’s most valuable iPhone ever sold.
But that’s not a knock on Apple.
Apple’s iPhone 6 has been a hit with millions of iPhone users, and the company says it will keep making the phones.
Weigel says that while the iPhone 6 may not be the most valuable smartphone ever, it’s still one of the most successful in history.
“I can’t say enough about the iPhone,” he says.
“The company has always been a leader in the field of innovation, and I think the iPhone has been just as important in terms of the success of Apple.”
Weigel also says that Apple has had a “terrific” relationship with the FBI and has been the best-kept secret for the past few years.
It was only recently that Apple came forward to the FBI, he says, and “they really wanted to know what Apple had done for them.”
